Learning with RPYC

When you own a boat, you never stop learning. Sails, charts, weather, diesels, electric, provisioning, the list is endless. Fortunately, RPYC members have dozens (maybe hundreds) of years of knowledge and experience and we love to share what we know with each other, and with anyone just getting started. Here are a few particularly helpful articles and classes.

What Causes Weather?

If you're going out on the water, you need to know the weather. Learn about clouds & their meanings, and understand high and low pressure systems. Learn how to interpret forecasts and understand what to expect with skills from this updated weather course, prepared by United States Power Squadrons and presented by the Richmond Sail & Power Squadron.
